“Fauna and Flora of Mt. Agad-Agad Iligan City Lanao del Norte: A Photographic Field Guide.

[LOOK] The CMU – University Press in collaboration with the City Government of Iligan launched the book “Fauna and Flora of Mt. Agad-Agad Iligan City Lanao del Norte: A Photographic Field Guide.” The book is authored by Dr. Victor B. Amoroso, Dr. Maria Melania M. Guiang, Dr. Fulgent P. Coritico, Dr. Olga M. Nuñeza, Dr. Alma B. Mohagan, Mr. Romeo R. Patano Jr., Ms. Joevina C. Nobleza, and Mr. Erl Pfian T. Maglangit was launched on 31 January 2024 at the Sweet Mommy, Pala-o, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. The launching was attended by more than 30 officials and guests from the LGU Iligan City, CMU, and the Mt. Agad-Agad council members.
Hon. Frederick W. Siao, City Mayor, Iligan City graced the occasion by giving a message. Dr. Rolito G. Eballe, CMU President, represented by Dr. Reynaldo L. Intong, Vice President for Resource Generation and Management also gave a very inspiring message. In his presentation, Dr. Amoroso highlighted the purpose of the research and the contents of the book which accordingly is very informative to the target stakeholders regarding the existing conservation of Fauna and Flora of Mt. Agad-Agad. Most importantly, the book will guide the stakeholders in protecting and preserving the mountain.
The launching was hosted by the City Government of Iligan through the facilitation and coordination of Dr. Darwin J. Manubag, City Administrator.
