To continuously ensure test validity and academic standards, the Central Mindanao University Admission Test (CMUAT) Board conducted a pilot test of the revised Central Mindanao University College Admission Test (CMUCAT) for undergraduate applicants at Siquijor State College, Larena, Siquijor (SSC) on August 24, 2026.

Reaffirming its position as the premier agricultural research institution in the region, Central Mindanao University hosted the 2nd Regional Livestock Biotechnology Symposium on August 19-20, 2026 at the University Convention Center.

Central Mindanao University, through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, organized a two-day Freshmen Orientation to warmly welcome incoming freshmen for Academic Year 2026–2027. The orientation was held on August 8–9, 2026, at the University Convention Center, providing new students with essential information and guidance as they begin their academic journey at the University.
