The College of Veterinary Medicine is one of the academic units of Central Mindanao
university, established in 1975 to provide quality
education in the field of agriculture. Since its inception, the college has been committed to
developing competent, innovative, and socially responsible professionals.
The college offers a range of programs, including Veterinary Medicine,
designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and
designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and
practical skills relevant to industry and community needs. Through its dedicated
faculty, modern facilities, and a student-centered approach, the college fosters

It aims to develop competent, ethical, and globally competitive graduates in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
Goal
The College aims to:
- Regularly design curricula and courses that provide adequate information and skills attuned to the needs of the Veterinary Profession.
- Implement a curriculum or course that best suits the needs of the Veterinary Profession in the Mindanao Region.
- Effectively channel information relevant to the current advances in the various fields of Veterinary Medicine.
- To develop and nurture among its faculty and students the culture of research.
- To identify and pursue research in various fields of Veterinary Medicine, solely or in collaboration with other research institutions.
Objectives
Specifically, the college seeks to:
- To keep up with the most recent research information in Veterinary Medicine and allied fields.
- To provide highly professional veterinary services needed by various sectors of the community.
- To provide a venue for specialized training in veterinary practice for students, clinicians, and technicians.
- To disseminate research results relevant to the existing needs of the community

The College of Veterinary Medicine upholds academic standards to ensure that students maintain
