The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is one of the academic units of Central Mindanao
university, established in 2026 to provide quality
education in the field of humanities and social sciences. Since its inception, the college has been committed to
developing competent, innovative, and socially responsible professionals.
The college offers a range of programs, including English Language Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, History, Philosophy, and Development Communication, which are designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and
practical skills relevant to industry and community needs. Through its dedicated
faculty, modern facilities, and a student-centered approach, the college fosters
academic excellence and lifelong learning.
As an integral part of the university, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences plays a vital role in

Specifically, the college seeks to:

Psychology, English Language Studies, Sociology, Political Science, History, Philosophy, and Development Communication; - To produce quality research relevant to institutional, regional, and national development goals;
