In 2023, the Central Mindanao University Office of Human Resource Management (CMU-OHRM) maintained its steadfast commitment to advancing CMU’s strategic mission and fostering the engagement and motivation of its workforce. CMU has 1,770 manpower, comprising 858
plantilla personnel, 128 contract of service personnel, 30 part-time faculty members, 432 permanent, 22 casual, and 732 job order personnel.

The major accomplishments of CGAD includes the conduct of Gender Sensitivity Orientation, perform research and extension activities, facilitate training effectiveness survey and assume the responsibility to carry out nationally mandated activities like Women’s Month, put through ongoing radio program, meetings, capability building activities among GAD focal persons, manage to carry out Training Needs Assessment, and take part in national, regional, and local GAD activities/celebration.

The Media and Community Relations Unit is responsible for the weekly radio program of the Office of Public  Relations and Information. The program runs from 7:30- 8 in the morning every Wednesday. It is one of the media used by the office to disseminate important news, events, breakthroughs, and university updates. For 2023, the office hosted 24 radio programs, facilitated 11 benchmarking activities, published 37 news articles/stories, and attended 12, 173 phone calls and online queries. The news and feature stories were published in 2023. These stories  were all posted on the university website and Central Mindanao University which is CMU’s official Facebook page. A total of 37 articles were published in the CMU Bulletin in 2023. Special issues for AACCUP, ISO, RDE week, and other university-wide activities were produced. Moreover, 2 community outreaches were conducted and 1 press conference was held.

Key highlights of the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office’s (DRRMO’s) accomplishments include the Award of Commendation to Central Mindanao University DRMMO for participating in the GAWAD KALASAG (GK) Seal and Special Awards for Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction Management DRRM and Humanitarian Assistance CY 2023 called by the Office of the Civil Defense. CMU-DRRMO has exhibited remarkable dedication, resilience, and effectiveness in executing its mandate of enhancing disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
