Objectives

- To offer excellent and relevant baccalaureate degree programs in agriculture, agribusiness management, and development communication;
- To produce quality instructional materials relevant to its various degree programs;
- To inculcate moral values for total human development;
- To produce quality research relevant to institutional, regional, and national development goals;
- To package generated agricultural technologies for its various stakeholders;
- To promote relevant agricultural technologies for improved quality of life; and
- To produce quality graduates for agricultural entrepreneurship.
cOURSE OFFERED
The institution offers a variety of academic programs in agriculture and related fields. At the undergraduate level, students can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with majors in areas such as AgriBio Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Animal Science, Soil Science, Crop Protection, and Crop Science. It also offers BS Agribusiness Management, which focuses on managing agricultural businesses, and BS Development Communication, which prepares students to use communication for community and agricultural development. For advanced studies, graduate programs include Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in fields such as Agricultural Economics, Education, Agronomy, Animal Science, Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, and Development Communication, as well as a Master in Agribusiness Management.
In addition, the institution provides short-term special courses like Dairy Production and Management and Swine Production and Management for practical skills development. It also offers certificate and associate programs, including a Certificate in Agricultural Science and a two-year Associate in Sugarcane Production and Management. Admission and retention policies are in place to ensure students meet academic standards and follow the required guidelines to successfully continue in their chosen programs.
