The College of Information Sciences and Computing is one of the academic units of Central Mindanao
 university, established in 2000 to provide quality
education in the field of Information Technology. Since its inception, the college has been committed to
developing competent, innovative, and socially responsible professionals.
The college offers a range of programs, including Information Technology, designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and
practical skills relevant to industry and community needs. Through its dedicated
faculty, modern facilities, and a student-centered approach, the college fosters
academic excellence and lifelong learning.
As an integral part of the university, the College of Information Technology and Computing plays a vital role in
advancing research, extension services, and community engagement,
contributing to the overall mission and vision of Central Mindanao University.

Goals and objectives

The College of Information Sciences and Computing is committed to achieving excellence in instruction,
research, and community service in alignment with the mission of Central Mindanao University.

It aims to develop competent, ethical, and globally competitive graduates in the field of Engineering.

  • Produce highly qualified professionals in the Information Technology fields, imbued with dignity, lofty ideals, and high moral values

Objectives

Specifically, the college seeks to:

  • To offer excellent and relevant baccalaureate degree programs in Information Technology;
  • To produce quality instructional materials relevant to its various degree programs;
  • To inculcate moral values for total human development;
  • To produce quality research relevant to institutional, regional, and national development goals;
  • To produce quality graduates in Information Technology

The College of Information Sciences and Computing upholds academic standards to ensure that students maintain
satisfactory performance throughout their studies in alignment with the policies of Central Mindanao University.
Students are required to meet the prescribed academic requirements to remain in their respective programs.
These include maintaining the minimum [GradeRequirement/GPA], complying with course requirements, and adhering to institutional rules and regulations.
