Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is the key to freeing ourselves from the prison of anger, bitterness, and resentment. While we have all experienced being hurt and needing forgiveness, we are also called to extend the same grace to others. Like Joseph, who chose compassion over revenge despite the pain he endured, we can choose to let go, heal, and move forward. Forgiveness does not erase the offense; rather, it restores our peace and opens the way for healing. When we forgive, we do not set others free — we set ourselves free.
