



In the quarterly meeting of the Philippine Plant Conservation Committee (PPCC) of the Biodiversity Management Bureau, a group of policymakers and plant experts from UP-Los Baños, the University of Santo Tomas, the Forest Management Bureau, the National Museum of the Philippines, the Bureau of Plant Industry, and Central Mindanao University, mandated by the DENR, is updating the National List of Threatened Philippine Plants and the Philippine Plants Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (PPCSAP).
The aim is to protect Philippine plant life and ensure the sustainability of the country’s natural resources.
