Training on bamboo fiber extraction

[EARLIER TODAY] The Department of Science and Technology Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) conducts a training on bamboo fiber extraction among the bamboo textile project staff held at the CMU Saw Mill on March 12, 2024.

This training is part of the joint research project between CMU and DOST-PTRI entitled “Quality Assessment of Bamboo Fiber from Two Economically Imported Bamboo Species for Textile Production” with the project staff, Dr. Rico A. Marin, and Field Verification of Bamboo Textile Fiber Technology Using Giant Bamboo in Northern Mindanao with the project staff, Dr. Lowell G. Aribal.
