Data Privacy and Disaster One-Day In-Campus Seminar Preparedness Office of the University Registrar

[IN PHOTOS] The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) conducted a one-day in-campus Seminar on Data Privacy and Disaster Preparedness suitable for the office among the OUR personnel and college registrars held at the University Center for Gender and Development Lecture Hall on April 29, 2024.

The activity aimed to learn the basic knowledge needed to protect scholastic records of students, lists of graduates, and other similar records of students from unforeseen disasters and to protect the personal and academic records of students and graduates through the basic rules of data privacy.

Moreover, Eng. Emilio C. Navaja, Data Protection Officer, talked about Data Privacy Capability, and Prof. Hermie P. Pava, VPA, Director of the CMU Office of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, also discussed Safety Preparedness.
