CMU National Innovation Day 2024 AT SM City Cagayan de Oro Uptown Activity Center

[LOOK] Central Mindanao University recently took part in the 2024 National Innovation Day held last April 22 to 24, 2024, at the SM City Cagayan de Oro Uptown Activity Center. The event centered around the theme “Reshaping the Future, Advancing Filipinnovation in Region X.”
This three-day event featured a dynamic lineup of activities including discussions on innovation, forums, technology demonstrations, and various interactive engagements. The initiative was led by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (Oro Chamber).
CMU showcased several products of Research and Development, highlighting the existing RAISE-X Program, Tuklas Lunas Development Center for Ferns, and Center for Food Research Innovation and Extension. Other research centers such as the Center for Biodiversity Research and Extension in Mindanao, Bamboo Research Development and Extension Center, Center for Natural Products Research Development and Extension, and Center for Geomatics in Mindanao also provided their support.
The active participation of CMU was organized by the Office of Research, headed by Dr. Jupiter V. Casas. The exhibitors include Ms. Helen E. Panganiban from the Capability Building Unit under the Office of Extension, Ms. Maejoy L. Talisay from the Office of Research, and Dr. Gamaliela A. Dumancas, the Project Component Leader of RAISE-IPTBM.
