Central Mindanao University joins the Indigenous Peoples communities worldwide in celebrating the ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ’๐ ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐ (NIP and IDWIP) with the theme, “Indigenous youth as agents of change for self-determination.”
This year’s celebration highlights the IP youth’s role in decision-making while recognizing their dedicated efforts in climate action, the search for justice for their people, and creating an intergenerational connection that keeps their culture, traditions, and contributions alive.
