CMU Strengthens Partnership with DOST-ITDI to Advance Chemical Waste Management Program

Central Mindanao University (CMU) and the Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI) have formalized their partnership through a Technical Service Agreement, strengthening their collaboration on chemical waste management. The agreement signing ceremony took place on June 30, 2025, at the DOST-ITDI KM STICA Building in Taguig City.

Key representatives from both institutions attended the event, including Dr. Rolito G. Eballe, CMU President; Prof. Hermie P. Pava, CMU Vice President for Administration; Engr. Emmie G. Reyes; Dr. Annavelle V. Briones, DOST-ITDI Director; Engr. Reynaldo L. Esguerra; and Dr. Janet F. Quizon. This partnership aims to enhance CMU’s chemical waste management initiatives, building on the training and technical assistance provided by DOST-ITDI. It marks a significant step towards safe, effective, and sustainable practices, further solidifying CMU’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
