This prestigious award recognizes Dr. Dela Cruz’s significant contributions to drug discovery and development, particularly her work with 𝘱𝘢𝘬𝘰 fern health products known for their potent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Her research also focuses on alternative sources of protein and advancing genetic research, which greatly contributes to plant diversity in Mindanao, enhancing food security and nutrition for Filipino families.
