CMU-CBM receives recognition for biz dev’t program

The College of Business and Management (CBM) of Central Mindanao University was recognized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bukidnon for its significant contributions to business development and consumer empowerment.

This recognition was given for their project entitled “Enhancing the Financial and Entrepreneurial Skills and Human Resources of Farmer Cooperatives and Associations and Worker Unions’ Enterprises for Business Success.” Led by Raymond S. Pacaldo, CPA, MS, Leanne Aireca P. Tumaroy, MBM, MPSM, and Argel Vallecer, MPA, as the proponents, the project was developed in partnership with DTI.

The project, which started in August 2024, includes a series of training and seminars on various topics such as digital marketing, branding, and facilitation skills for the officers of farmers’ organizations. These were conducted in the different parts of the province.

The certificate of recognition was given during the Pagdayeg Stakeholder Awards 2024 last December 5, 2024, at Robinsons’ Place Valencia, Valencia City.
