CMU celebrates excellence as Top-Performing School in the 2025 NDLE

Central Mindanao University (CMU) has once again been recognized among the country’s top-performing institutions after ranking 4th nationwide in the November 2025 Nutritionist-Dietitians Licensure Examination (NDLE) among schools with 30 or more examinees.

The recognition was formally conferred during the Regional Oath-Taking Ceremony, held at the Apo View Hotel, in Davao City on January 9, 2026, with the theme “Embodying Purpose, Professionalism, and Progress.” The ceremony highlighted the crucial role of nutritionists-dietitians in advancing national nutrition and public health.

With a total of 38 examinees, CMU posted an impressive 97.37% passing rate. According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 945 out of 1,361 examinees (69.43%) passed the examination nationwide, underscoring CMU’s performance well above the national average.

CMU’s strong showing was further marked by the outstanding achievements of its topnotchers: Felix Jr. Maambong Anastacio, who placed 7th with a rating of 91.80%, and Ana Babes Bahian Andoy, who ranked 8th with 91.50%. Both were formally recognized during the ceremony.

Representing CMU on behalf of University President Dr. Rolito G. Eballe were Dr. Marivic B. Lazar, Dean of the College of Human Ecology, and Dr. Allene Mae N. Marapao, Chairperson of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, who accepted the award.

CMU extends its warmest congratulations to the College of Human Ecology, the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the newly registered nutritionist-dietitians.
