Dr. Fernando is a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Forest Biological Sciences, College of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), and the Vice Chair of the Philippine Plant Conservation Committee (PPCC).
This lecture series is organized by the Center for Biodiversity Research and Extension in Mindanao (CEBREM) and the PPCC, in coordination with the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and College of Forestry and Environmental Science on May 16 at the CAS Auditorium.
