1𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪)

[LOOK] As part of the university’s ongoing commitment to advocate for the rights and welfare of women and in line with the nationwide observance of the 1𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪) from 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, mandated by Proclamation 1172 s. 2006, the university, through the Center for Gender and Development (CGAD), will host several university-wide activities aimed at actively engaging the CMU community.

𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆: All employees and students are encouraged to wear orange every Friday until the campaign concludes. This initiative symbolizes our dedication to ending VAW and will take place on November 29 and December 6, 2024.

𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗰𝘀: To promote health, camaraderie, and collective action against VAW, we invite all employees and students to participate in dance aerobics sessions scheduled for November 29 and December 6, 2024, at 4:00 PM in front of the administration building. Faculty members with classes scheduled at this time will be respectfully excused from this activity.

These activities are designed to enhance awareness, encourage active participation, and reaffirm the university’s steadfast support for gender equality and the eradication of violence against women.
