In line with its commitment to nurturing skilled and highly competent graduates, Central Mindanao University (CMU) held the closing ceremony for its non-degree programs on July 22, 2025, held at the University Convention Center, honoring the achievements of the Class of 2025.

CMUโ€™s non-degree programs include the Certificate of Agricultural Science under the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture ladderized curriculum, the Short Course in Dairy Production and Management offered by the College of Agriculture, and the Cookery NC II program under the College of Human Ecology.

Engr. Artemio C. Del Rosario, Jr., Provincial Director of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) โ€“ Bukidnon, graced the ceremony as the Guest Speaker. Aligned with this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œConquering Horizons through Global Foresight, Performance Management, and Innovation,โ€ Engr. Del Rosario emphasized its relevance in the realities of the modern world.

โ€œNow, you must take what youโ€™ve learned and translate it into action. Use your skills not just to earn, but to lead, to serve, and to innovate,โ€ Engr. Del Rosario added.

Moreover, University President Dr. Rolito G. Eballe underscored the significance of CMUโ€™s non-degree programs and the advantages they offer to graduates. โ€œThese non-degree programs, aside from being more accessible and affordable than full-degree courses, have opened doors and created opportunities by equipping students with practical, hands-on skills essential for both local and overseas employment,โ€ Dr. Eballe emphasized.

During the ceremony, 944 graduates were conferred certificates, including 25 from the College of Human Ecology and 919 from the College of Agriculture, highlighting the university’s continued commitment to technical and vocational excellence.
