Another CMU alumnus brings home a large bacon, so to speak. Engr. Jared Salinas Cuchapin (BSEE Class 2014) is the 10th Placer in the recently concluded 2014 EE Licensure Examination with 89.10%. The first time takers of the university also obtained a remarkable 100% passing. Overall, CMU has a percentage passing rate of 92.86%.

Dr. Constancio M. Verula, Jr., Dean of the College of Engineering, happily and proudly announced at the flag raising ceremony on September 22, 2014 the results of the recent board examination. Twenty-six of 28 CMU examinees passed the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reported that 2,190 examinees out of 3,661 passed the EE Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Zamboanga this month.

Over the years, the University’s EE graduates have maintained an excellent performance in the licensure examinations. Last year, CMU achieved a 100% passing rate for the first time takers and 100 % passing rate for all takers in 2012.
