Mark Lloyd A. Monredondo, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering student from Central Mindanao University (CMU), underwent his On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the Department of Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan, Taipei from March 17 to May 9, 2025.

Central Mindanao University (CMU) hosted the International Symposium, Training, and Workshop on Hemiptera: Taxonomy, Distribution, and Diversity in the Philippines on May 23, 2025, at the College of Arts and Sciences Extension Auditorium and University Museum.

Central Mindanao University (CMU) continues to expand its global academic presence as two faculty members and two PhD Biology students represented the university and the Philippines as resource persons  in an international symposium hosted by the Kyungpook National University (KNU) School of Medicine in Daegu, South Korea, on May 20, 2025.

Three faculty members and five graduate scholars from the Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, and Microbiology (MBBGM) Division of the Institute of Biological Sciences (IBS), Central Mindanao University (CMU) proudly represented the university and the Philippines at the 2025 Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists (FAOBMB) International Conference, held on May 20–23, 2025 at BEXCO, Busan, South Korea.

In a show of support during a stressful week, the Central Mindanao University Alumni Association, Inc. (CMUAAI) provided free meals to students during the final exam week, offering warm bowls of arroz caldo and bread on May 14-16 and May 19-20, 2025, at the Fulbright Garden.

The University, through the Center for Gender and Development (CGAD), is currently conducting a two-day Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) Orientation-Workshop on May 22–23, 2025, at the GAD Function Hall.

In a concerted effort to foster gender sensitivity and awareness within the university community, Central Mindanao University (CMU), through the Center for Gender and Development (CGAD), successfully conducted a SOGIE Bill Orientation on May 9, 2025, at the CGAD Hall.

Central Mindanao University joined the nationwide observance of the first-ever Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month during its monthly convocation held at the University Convention Center on May 5, 2025.

Two faculty researchers from Central Mindanao University (CMU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) represented the university at the Global African Swine Fever Research Alliance (GARA) Scientific Meeting 2025, held on April 28 to 30, 2025 at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
