Central Mindanao University received recognition during the 4th Regional Quality Awards Program in celebration of the 3rd National Higher Education Day and the 29th Founding Anniversary of CHED held at Apple Tree Resort, Opol, Cagayan de Oro City, on June 22, 2023.

Ushering a wave of change in the university’s identity, the Committee on Branding and Standardization of Signages finally launched the university’s visual identities in a special flag-raising ceremony on June 5, 2023, at the University Convention Center.

The Association of Registered Student Organizations (ARSO), in partnership with the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and the University Center for Gender and Development (UCGAD), launched HUGYAW: The 2023 ARSO Days through a five-day activity at Central Mindanao University on April 3–4 and 11–13, 2023.

The University caps off the National Women’s Month Celebration through a Panel Discussion featuring five women leaders anchored on the theme “Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future” held at the University Convention Center on March 27, 2023.

This year’s first Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) among CMU employees covers the topics of Differences between Sex and Gender, Gender Role Socialization and Development of Gender Stereotype, Manifestation of Gender Biases and Issues, and Addressing Gender Biases and Issues held at UCGAD Hall on March 10.

The University through the Public Relations and Information Office spearheaded the culmination of the Arts Month with the theme The Promise of Soil in the Land of Promise. This activity is part of PRIO’s annual advocacy and is now in its third year, titled PRIO Gives Love, held at the University Convention Center on February 28.
