In commemoration of this year’s National Women’s Month Celebration, the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) spearheaded an activity for the female students of CMU entitled “Women’s Wellness: A Healthy and Beautiful She,” held at the OSAS Hall on March 22, 2024.

As part of the journey towards a more gender-responsive community, the University culminated the National Women’s Month celebration with a talk entitled “CMU: A Catalyst for Gender Fair Society, Empowerment of Women and Other Genders” held at the University Convention Center on March 26, 2024.

Central Mindanao University emerged as Best Technical Paper and Best Oral Presenter among the 41 presenters at the 3rd International Conference on Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (iCEAT) 2024, organized by the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology-University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) on March 14-15, 2024 via Zoom.

Central Mindanao University joined the global community in celebrating World Wildlife Day through a week-long localized campaign dubbed “Wildlife is Here 2024” organized by Philippine Eagle Foundation Inc. (PEF) in which CMU faculty members served as resource speakers, held at Robinsons Mall, Valencia City.

The Central Mindanao University Employees Association Incorporated (CMUEAI) through the CMUEAI Youth, organized this year’s CMUEAI Day Celebration mainly for the non-teaching personnel including the job order staff to participate in the celebration at the University Convention Center and Sports Complex on February 16, 2024.

Following thorough evaluation and validation of documents, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines Inc. (AACCUP) accrediting team conveyed their insights and recommendations for CMU during the institutional accreditation (IA) survey visit held from January 29 to February 2, 2023.

On the last leg of the Institutional Accreditation, the AACCUP accreditors witnessed the words of affirmation by another partner LGU, the City of Valencia, through a testimonial dinner held at Brickhouse Kitchen, Bamboo Springs Park, Valencia City.

Local officials in Maramag recently hosted a testimonial dinner to express gratitude to the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) accreditors who assessed CMU as a whole educational institution, as the university aspires to achieve a higher level of institutional accreditation.
