He added: “We are aiming to maintain the linkages between our organization and the CMU.”

The RDE Week Celebration started as a mini-market in 2002 and reached more stakeholders in 2005. It is a tradition where the University Extension Office gathers different agencies and exhibitors to showcase their products and technologies.

According to Dr. Emmanuel T. Baltazar, director of University Extension Office, one of the objectives of this gathering is to provide opportunity for display and marketing of products generated by the community and industry partners.

Eralyn L. Libante, quality control officer of Kape Napalit, expressed her gratitude to CMU for the unending support to uplift the coffee production of the cooperative.

“We are lucky enough that CMU invited us to this 6th RDE Week to showcase and promote Kape Napalit products.”

Moreover, Teresita Nallano, chair of Panadtalan Consumers Cooperative, shared that this year’s RDE week is competitive and developed.

She added: “CMU will compete for globally in terms of research innovation and marketing products….readiness for ASEAN standard is achieved.” (JCandole)
