The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) and the Director of Instruction (DOI) in coordination with the CMU Faculty Association, Incorporated (CMUFAI) conducted on June 28, 2013 at the College of Education Hall an Orientation Program for the Newly Hired Faculty Members.

The orientation was held purposely to give the new faculty members important information about CMU.

Prof. Lucerne M. Razalo, Chief of the University Public Information Office (UPIO), presented the CMU history and four-fold functions followed by the VP for Administration, Dr. Ricardo G. Villar who discussed about the university organizational structure and administrative functions.  The HRMO Chief, Ms. Haidee Helena H. Garcia, elaborated on personnel matters and the Director of Instruction, Dr. Cecillia V. Bautista, presented the faculty performance evaluation system.  Ms. Iris D. Opiso, Finance Management Office (FMO) OIC Chief, talked about the financial aspects of the university.

The orientation was attended by the 151 newly hired faculty members.  The University anticipated that the orientation would give the newly faculty members ample information about CMU and more importantly a better grasp and understanding on their roles, functions, and responsibilities as faculty members (KDZambas/UPIO).
