CMU-CED strengthens ties with Takpittayakhom School, Thailand

Central Mindanao University- College of Education (CED), and Takpittayakhom School have been partners in promoting academic and cultural exchange through a teaching internship program since 2019. Recently, the two institutions renewed their collaboration through a virtual Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on July 30, 2024, via Google Meet. 

Through this partnership, CMU-CED has sent three batches of students to Takpittayakhom School since 2019; the second batch has done their internship online because of the pandemic. Moreover, the Dean of the CMU-CED, Dr. Denis A. Tan, hopes to send the 4th batch for this academic school year 2024-2025.

The University President, Dr. Rolito G. Eballe, expressed his full support for this collaboration with the Takpittayakhom School. “This memorandum of agreement is a testament to our shared commitment and dedication to enhance present knowledge and even to initiate learning that transcends cultural boundaries that the next generation of scholars, learners, and educators can benefit from,” Dr. Eballe said in his message.

Moreover, the Director of Takpittayakhom School, Dr. Phutanaphat Phummai, stated in his message, “We are honored to be academic partners with Central Mindanao University. I am confident we will achieve more and develop a stronger partnership.”
