In a show of support during a stressful week, the Central Mindanao University Alumni Association, Inc. (CMUAAI) provided free meals to students during the final exam week, offering warm bowls of arroz caldo and bread on May 14-16 and May 19-20, 2025, at the Fulbright Garden.

The University, through the Center for Gender and Development (CGAD), is currently conducting a two-day Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) Orientation-Workshop on May 22–23, 2025, at the GAD Function Hall.

Four Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students from Central Mindanao University (CMU) are currently participating in an International Internship Program at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FIKKIA), Universitas Airlangga, Banyuwangi Campus, Indonesia. The internship runs from April 28 to May 23, 2025.

Central Mindanao University joined the nationwide observance of the first-ever Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month during its monthly convocation held at the University Convention Center on May 5, 2025.

Two faculty researchers from Central Mindanao University (CMU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) represented the university at the Global African Swine Fever Research Alliance (GARA) Scientific Meeting 2025, held on April 28 to 30, 2025 at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
