Central Mindanao University (CMU) has been honored as a Top 3 Performing Schoolin the 2025 Forestry Board Exam, administered and recognized by the Professional Regulatory Board for Foresters under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). This distinction underscores CMU’s commitment to excellence in forestry education and its success in producing highly competent forestry professionals.
The award was formally received by Dr. Rolito G. Eballe, University President, and Dr. Jose S. Valmorida, Vice President for Academic Affairs, during the ceremony held on November 22, 2025, at Tent City, Manila Hotel. The event brought together top-performing schools and board exam topnotchers from across the country.

CMU’s outstanding performance is highlighted by the results, with 47 out of 57 examinees passing the exam, giving the university a passing rate of 87.04%, well above the national average. This achievement reflects the high quality of instruction and thorough preparation provided by the College of Forestry and Environmental Science.
