“I would like to express my appreciation for the success of this 104th Unified Foundation Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming and this could not be made possible without the active cooperation from the different participating groups. We are very fortunate because we are experiencing an excellent local weather while in Luzon, Typhoon Mario is expected to land fall”, says Vice President for Administration Dr. Ricardo G. Villar during the Opening Program. Dr. Villar represented the University President, Dr. Maria Luisa Rupac-Soliven, who is now preparing for Senate discussion in the deliberation of the state universities and colleges’ annual budgets for Calendar Year 2015.
Dr. Villar lauded when he heard the voices of the representatives from the four pillars of the University – Instruction, Research, Extension and Production including the Administration.
Participants were the alumni, faculty staff and students from the Colleges of Agriculture, Engineering, Arts and Sciences, Commerce and Accountancy, Education, Home Economics, Forestry and Environmental Science, Nursing, and Veterinary Medicine. The University Laboratory High School participants were also present, including the Administration, Extension, Research and Production staff from different offices, bureaus and units.
