Central Mindanao University (CMU) held its monthly convocation on January 12, 2026, at the University Convention Center, where employees were recognized for their outstanding performance and contributions to community development.
A total of 116 awardees were honored during the employee awarding.
Among the awardees were the faculty members from the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Sciences. They were recognized for their commitment, professionalism, and support in the development and implementation of the standardized Deradicalization Module (Intensive Localized Component) for former rebels.
The module was implemented in three batches under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) of the Provincial Government of Bukidnon. This initiative contributed to CMU’s national recognition as a recipient of the Kinang Award from the Department of the Interior and Local Government–Local Government Academy on December 10, 2025.
Recognized faculty awardees were Hermie P. Pava, Anna Girlee V. Visayan, Marjorie T. Sobradil, May Alinie P. Butalid, Meshelle M. Rivera, Aljean T. Sareno, Rhizza Mae L. Asoy, Jornie D. Lumintao, Keith Dominic A. Revilla, Arnel A. Morte, Juanito Q. Jumalon, Leo G. Labrador, Athena Jan I. Derayunan, Chenie B. Labnotin, Jeacoleen Claire A. Gaco, Jenielyn L. Basadre, Rudjia Faith T. Anino, and Artemis Shaun Xena Labrador.
Meanwhile, employees who excelled during the Faculty and Staff Palaro 2025, held on December 15, were also recognized. University Sports Coordinator Prof. Procopio B. Galendez announced that all first-, second-, and third-place winners in the event will receive cash prizes.
The convocation consisted of two parts: a thanksgiving Mass and a ceremonial program that included the flag-raising ceremony and employee awarding.
