Professor Emeritus Dr. Victor M. Amoroso recently served as an invited resource speaker at the 40th Joint Symposium on Natural Products held in Taichung City, Taiwan, from October 24–26, 2025.


The symposium, hosted at the College of Chinese Medicine at China Medical University, was a collaborative effort involving several major organizations, including the Society of Natural Products (SNP), the Society for Free Radical Research-Taiwan (SFRR-Taiwan), the Taiwan Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TATCM), the Society of Chinese Pharmacy-Taiwan (SCPS-Taiwan), and the Discipline of Pharmacy and Traditional Chinese Medicine under the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).
The event focused on discussing the latest innovations and global partnerships in Chinese Medicine and Natural Products. Dr. Amoroso presented his latest research findings on the utilization and medicinal uses of Philippine Ferns.
Beyond his presentation, Dr. Amoroso actively engaged with international peers, focusing on exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The symposium gathered experts from across the globe, featuring invited speakers from the United Kingdom, South Africa, Thailand, Austria, and the Czech Republic, all discussing essential topics for advancing natural product innovation.
