Central Mindanao University (CMU) reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, transparency, and efficiency in public service as it convened its 2025 Suppliers’ Forum on August 27 at the College of Engineering Atrium. The gathering brought together partners and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and ensure that every procurement process upholds fairness and accountability.

In his message, University President Dr. Rolito G. Eballe underscored this commitment, stating: “This forum is more than just an orientation on procurement rules—it is our way of affirming a shared commitment to integrity, fairness, and service.” Dr. Eballe emphasized that the university wants to create an environment where suppliers and contractors can join procurement activities with confidence, knowing that decisions will be guided only by law, merit, and what is best for the university and its stakeholders.

Echoing the President’s commitment to a clean administration, Vice President for Administration Prof. Hermie P. Pava emphasized that this present administration’s guiding principle is clear: no corruption, no shortcuts—only clean and transparent processes.
The program featured key discussions, including sessions on the Procurement Process, Item Receiving Process, Inspection, Infra Project Monitoring and Implementation Process, Accounting and Auditing Process, and Supplier Delivery and Performance Monitoring. These sessions are specifically tailored to enhance suppliers’ understanding of CMU’s operational requirements, ensuring smoother transactions and improved service delivery.
The forum was attended by 47 suppliers and contractors, including participants who joined online, reflecting the university’s effort to make its processes inclusive and accessible to a wider network of partners.
The forum also included an open dialogue where partners could directly engage with university leaders. This interactive approach underscored CMU’s commitment to honest competition and ethical standards, ensuring every peso saved goes directly back to supporting student education and community development.
