After the week-long Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Friendship Games and Socio-Cultural Festival held in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, from October 26 to 31, 2025, the Central Mindanao University (CMU) community proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of its student delegates by recognizing them during the monthly convocation and flag-raising ceremony on November 3, 2025. 

A significant ₱2.5 million educational grant has been secured by Central Mindanao University (CMU) from Nestlé Philippines through its Nescafé brand. It will directly support 100 CMU student beneficiaries from coffee-farming backgrounds. 

Central Mindanao University (CMU) held its monthly convocation on November 3, 2025, at the University Convention Center, with the event focusing specifically on the cultivation of Filipino values in the modern era.

The drive for academic distinction hit a new high at Central Mindanao University (CMU) as the institution launched a major bid this week to secure the highest accreditation status, submitting 12 of its programs to a rigorous three-day survey by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. which runs from October 21-23, 2025.
