Students from the Department of Home Economics Education and Family Life, College of Human Ecology (CHE), Central Mindanao University (CMU), secured a spot among the Top 15 Finalists in the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Textile Research Institute’s (DOST-PTRI) 3rd Stitch-Off: Filipiniana-Coded Contest.

Showcasing Central Mindanao University’s (CMU) academic and research excellence, a student from the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics presented during the 25th Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Society of Asia (PENSA) Congress, held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on October 7-11, 2025. 

After a comprehensive three-day evaluation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., Central Mindanao University (CMU) was lauded for its impactful extension programs and their contributions to community development, research, and academic excellence during the closing program on October 23, 2025.

The drive for academic distinction hit a new high at Central Mindanao University (CMU) as the institution launched a major bid this week to secure the highest accreditation status, submitting 12 of its programs to a rigorous three-day survey by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. which runs from October 21-23, 2025.
