Dr. Maria Luisa R. Soliven, CMU president, confirms 212 graduates for special and TESDA short term courses certificates at the Farmers Training Center on April 5, 2013, 23 graduates were Dairy Production and Management; 31 graduates of Agricultural Science ; 31 graduates in Food and Beverages NCII and 127 graduates in Certificate in Accounting Technology.
Mr. Raul L. Valmores, Provincial Head of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) was the guest speaker. Valmores emphasized in his speech that to become globally competitive, the government, private institutions and young people need to work together as one united team focusing to educate and train our student to become world class workers and instilling in them the value of basic education in forming a solid foundation of knowledge” Valmores said. He also added that transforming young people into productive and competitive Filipino workers would provide the Philippines the edge into global competitiveness.
The graduation was attended by the University president, Dr. Maria Luisa R. Soliven, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso,; the University Registrar Dr. Carolina D. Amper, ; Deans of the College of Agriculture represented by Dr. Emma Non, College of Commerce and Accountancy Prof. Felipe E. Opiso and College of Home Economics Prof. Jose S. Valmorida
