The Central Mindanao University (CMU) community warmly received a distinguished delegation from the Joint Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kagoshima University (Japan), on Friday, March 14, 2025. This marked a significant milestone in fostering international academic collaboration.
The visit commenced with a formal courtesy call to the CMU University President, attended by International Relations Office representatives and faculty members of the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM). This meeting highlighted the mutual commitment of both institutions to advancing global partnerships in education, research, and innovation within the field of veterinary sciences.
Following the courtesy call, a strategic coordination meeting was carried out to explore avenues for collaboration in faculty and student exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and Institutional Capacity Building to strengthen global competitiveness and academic excellence.
Led by the College of Veterinary Medicine, this initiative aligns with the university’s broader mission to expand its international network and deliver transformative educational experiences.
