Research on food safety and biodiversity conservation earned national recognitionas two Central Mindanao University (CMU) researchers were named among the Top10 APAMS Graduate Fellows for 2026. The recognition was conferred during theAnnual Meeting and Symposium of the Philippine-American Academy of Scienceand Engineering (PAASE) and the APAMS Graduate Fellows Program held May28–29 at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac, Bataan.

Expanded internship opportunities, industry exposure, and potential employment pathways for students were among the initiatives discussed during a meeting between Central Mindanao University (CMU) and Virginia Food, Inc. (VFI) on May 28.
