True Filipino patriotism is inspired by the sacrifices of national heroes and martyrs who secured the country’s freedom. Patriotism goes beyond symbolic acts and should be lived daily through integrity, responsibility, and service. Public servants show patriotism through honest governance and quality service, while private citizens do so by obeying laws and practicing civic responsibility. Ultimately, every Filipino must actively demonstrate love for the country in everyday actions.
