Cooperation in a team comes from unity in purpose, voice, and vision. A shared purpose serves as the team’s “heart,” giving members direction and motivating genuine commitment. When members internalize this purpose, cooperation happens naturally. A team must also speak with one voice to avoid confusion, division, and conflict, as unity in message strengthens collective action. Finally, a common vision ensures everyone moves toward the same goal; while diverse perspectives can help, differing directions weaken the team. True cooperation is achieved when all members share and embrace the same purpose, voice, and vision.
