Representatives from USTP-Claveria headed by their Chancellor, Dr. Renato O. Arazo, visited CMU to discuss the intention of LGU Sumilao, Bukidnon to have an extension class of USTP in their Municipality, particularly Crop Science Program.
During the visit, USTP-Claveria expressed that they considered and agreed to the request of LGU Sumilao, subject to discussion and consultation with CMU as recommended by the USTP Board of Regents. As a State University in the Province of Bukidnon, which also offers agricultural programs, CMU interposes no objection to the proposed establishment of extension classes.
However, CMU intends to be part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will be executed for the two (2) Universities and LGU Sumilao to collectively and complementarily perform their respective mandates.
