The Academic Paradise of the South, Central Mindanao University (CMU), strengthened its international academic ties through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to enhance academic collaboration among other development initiatives on March 3, 2025, in Thailand.

In its commitment to continuous improvement, Central Mindanao University (CMU), through its Hazardous Materials Safety and Security Unit and in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI), hosted a three-day Laboratory Assessment and Training/Workshop on Hazardous Waste Management and Safety. The event took place at the Farmers Training Center from February 25-27, 2025.
