CMU Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) in partnership with the Public Relations and Information Office (PRIO), organized an awards ceremony with the theme, “Discovering Possibilities and Building Resilience in the New Normal,” at the University Convention Center on December 10, 2021.

The University Tourism Office conducts a Farm Tourism Forum for the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Claveria Campus and Mindanao State University – Lanao del Norte Agricultural College Campus (MSU-LNAC) at the Farmers Training Center.

Cotabato State University- Technical Working Group (CSU-TWG) conducted a benchmarking in Central Mindanao University for Republic Act No. 11396, also known as the “SUCs Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) Act.”

CMU is one of the presenters of the first-ever NICER Summit Conference on accelerating Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in the country through regionally inclusive R&D anchored on the theme, “Inclusive Innovation towards Attaining Sustainable Development Goals,” via Zoom and Facebook live, December 3, 2021.

The CMU-Bamboo R&D Center is among the 37 established Niche Centers in the Regions for R&D (NICER) program showcased during the First NICER Summit entitled “Conference on Accelerating STI in the Country through a Regionally Inclusive R&D” with the theme: “Inclusive Innovation towards Attaining Sustainable Development Goals” last December 3 via Zoom and FB Live.

The visitors were warmly welcomed by: the University President, Dr. Jesus Antonio G. Derije; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jose Alexander C. Abella; College of Agriculture Dean, Dr. Maria Estela B. Detalla, and RGMO (Crop Enterprise) Director, Dr. Annie D. Deriada.

This year’s 6th Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Congress and 33rd Annual In-House Review and Evaluation highlights the importance of bridging the gap in CMU Research, Development, and Extension amidst COVID-19 via virtual conferencing, November 22–26, 2021.

CMU University Center for Gender and Development (UCGAD) and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) conducted a “Gender Sensitivity Training” for CMU employees on November 25-26, 2021, via Zoom meeting.
