Fifty seven graduating students from selected colleges in the university participated in the Dole Philippines Campus Recruitment, yesterday, Feb. 1 at the University Press Conference Room.
These students were majoring in Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.
The recruitment was facilitated by the Office of Admission, Scholarship, and Placement (OASP) lead by Dr. Denis A. Tan. The job opportunities include Area Supervisors/Land Canvassers/Soil Conservation Supervisor, Cannery Supervisors, Financial Analysts, Food Technologists, Heavy Equipment Operators, IT Specialists/Analyst, Mechanic Trainees, Microbiologists/Chemists, Project/Cadet Engineers, QA Supervisors, and Technicians.
Jennifer G. Jose, the company’s recruitment supervisor, oriented the students about the company and the opportunities they will enjoy if they qualify for the positions, and become part of their operations in Polomolok, South Cotabato.
Dole conducted initial assessment for the students after the orientation and further disclosed that they prefer dynamic, results-oriented, and optimistic applicants.
This is the third time that the company conducts campus recruitment in the university.
