[LOOK] As part of CMU’s commitment to Internationalization, the University established a partnership with International Hotels in Shanghai, China for Student Internship programs through the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement and ocular inspection of hotels on January 25-28, 2024.
The CMU team is composed of Dr. Rolito G. Eballe – University President, Dr. Rubie A. Arroyo – Dean, College of Human Ecology (CHE), Dr. Daryl Jane A. Caballero – Dean, College of Business and Management (CBM), and Ms. Janniefe P. Balacase – SIAP In-charge, International Relations Office (IRO), visited four international hotels: Renaissance Shanghai – a Marriott affiliated hotel, Jeurong Hotel Shanghai, Hilton Shanghai, and Crowne Plaza Shanghai to ocularly inspect their facilities, student accommodations, and other pertinent compliances as well as to finalize party qualifications and responsibilities under CHED Memo Order (CMO) no. 10 s. 2023 – Enhanced Policies, Standards, and Guidelines on Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP). Furthermore, part of the official trip is the university delegates’ exposure to some essential and relevant cultural and traditional practices as crucial input for the orientation activity among students and parents. This program will be hopefully realized in August this year when all CMO requirements are fully complied with.
