In-Service Training 2024: Seminar-Writeshop on Module Development with a theme “Navigating the Future Education: Empowering Learners through Effective Module Development”

[IN PHOTOS] To help maintain a culture of professionalism and creative excellence as a model to other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Dr. Teresita H. Borres, Dr. Joy M. Jamago, Dr. Andrea G. Azuelo, and Dr. Lucerne M. Razalo served as resource speakers during the In-Service Training 2024: Seminar-Writeshop on Module Development with a theme “Navigating the Future Education: Empowering Learners through Effective Module Development” which the Cotabato State University (CotSU) conducted on 23-25 January 2024 at the Em Manor Hotel and Convention Center, Cotabato City.

Dr. Sema G. Dilna, President, CotSU requested the expertise of CMU through the University Press on module development so that CotSU would be able to design and create course modules tailored for all CotSU programs.

The abovenamed resource persons discussed the topics “Overview of Module Development and its Importance,” “Understanding the Format and Style of a Module,” “Identifying Learning Objectives and Outcomes”, “Exploring Different Teaching Approaches, Methodologies, or Strategies,” and “Examining various assessment methods, and on how to integrate technology tools, open educational resources, and interactive multimedia elements into modules.” A total of 182 participants were able to attend the seminar and developed modules which were presented and critiqued by the resource persons.
