CMU educators shine at Asian Conference for Innovation in Education 2025

Central Mindanao University (CMU) continues to make its mark on the global academic stage as two of its esteemed educators, Dr. Marbeth G. Aringay and Dr. Jessel T. Torres, actively participated in the Asian Conference for Innovation in Education 2025 (ACIE 2025), held at the Osaka Central Public Hall on March 3-4, 2025.

The two educators presented research addressing critical post-pandemic challenges in education, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by promoting equitable and inclusive learning opportunities.

Dr. Marbeth G. Aringay presented her study, “Technological Dependency and Learning Gaps: Post-Pandemic Challenges in Language Education,” which explored the impact of technology-driven learning on student adaptation and academic performance.

Dr. Jessel T. Torres delivered a presentation on “Empowering Success: Harnessing Crafted Modules to Support At-risk Students,” emphasizing the role of customized instructional materials in improving learning outcomes for struggling students.

Both studies sparked engaging discussions among participants. Dr. Aringay’s presentation stood out, earning her the Outstanding Presenter award, and bringing pride to CMU.

The event featured speakers and delegates from the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, Germany, the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Taiwan, Sweden, and Cambodia, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas on modern teaching methodologies.
