CMU Celebrates 104th Unified Foundation Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming

Central Mindanao University is now celebrating the 104th Unified Foundation Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming starting September 18-20, 2014 with a Theme : “Building  Dreams, Empowering Communities, Securing the Future.

Maramag Municipal Mayor  Jose V. Obedencio  expresses his felicitations  to the management, faculty, staff, students and prominent alumni  who gathered  in celebrating the event.

“Described  as the academic paradise of the south, CMU  continued to touch the many lives as it has developed from a small community school to a competently – performing  and enhanced institution of excellence and relevance in instruction, research, extension and production”, Mayor Obedencio said.

He added that  all these years,  CMU endures  to present the  vital learning  tools equipping  youths with social consciousness  and competencies  that crash the bondage  of adversity and  unlock further  opportunities to bring about  change and  improvement in  the quality of people’s lives.

“Deserving remarkable students  have found purpose in this institution. They have gone on to become successful communities in various spheres of progress”, he revealed.

He ended his message  saying “Congratulations and long live CMU! May the Almighty Father continue  to bless  you and all your  development endeavors”.
