Central Mindanao University Academic Paradise of the South
The Central Mindanao University would like to extend condolence to Dr. Emmanuel Andaya Lariosa who passed away on February 22, 2015. Dr. Lariosa was born on May 29, 1941 in Ayungan, Negros Oriental. He first served the University as Instructor I in 1970 until he became Professor VI in 2004.
Dr. Lariosa was a former Chairman of the Department of Languages and Linguistics in 1978 and became a Director of Research in 1994. He also became the chairman of the Pre-qualifications, Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) in 1999 and an Executive Director of the CMU-Integrated Development Foundation, Inc. in the year 2000. Furthermore, Dr. Lariosa was appointed as the Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2003 because of his promising accomplishments for the pride and honor of the University.
